QUALIFICATIONS AND APPROACHES
I am a qualified Psychodynamic and Person Centred Counsellor. Enabling us to explore past traumas or current life difficulties – or a mixture of both.
* CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy
* CPCAB Level 3 in Counselling Studies
* CPCAB Level 2 in Counselling Skills
These methods are often combined depending on each client’s specific needs, to form an Integrative approach in Talking Therapy.
I currently work as a school counsellor at a school for performing arts. My clients include teenagers as well as adults (staff members). I have also worked in primary education with youngsters aged between 7 and 11 years and for a drug and alcohol rehabilitation service, offering counselling to adults recovering from addiction, as well as to their loved ones who need support in coping with the difficulties of living with an addict.
I have experience in working with clients who have a wide range of issues including:

Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and ADHD

I am fully insured and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP), abiding by their code of ethics and professional standards. I am also engaged in ongoing professional and personal training and development, including regular supervision, to ensure that my practice receives the best informed care.
